I’m Michael Mings and this blog is about my family, my comments regarding internet, hosting, and digital media, as well as myself.

Ok - so let me give you the condensed version. I grew up near Austin, TX, went to school at Texas A&M University, received two degrees, have attended grad school and have been involved in several different careers, including several start-ups in hosting and online gaming. I met my beautiful wife in college at our local church. We dated 2 years and then had a 5-week engagement (that was fast).

I have held various leadership and executive level positions within hosting, broadband, and online gaming. Head on over to LinkedIn and check out my profile. I’m also pretty involved in my church that was started as a church plant. I enjoy athletics - particuarly running, lifting, and playing basketball.

I’m blessed with a beautiful little girl, Ella Joyce, who’s middle name was after my grandmother that passed away a little while back. We also now have a second daughter, Linley Kay, whom was born November 2008. Jenn and I also are fortunate to have tons of friends and family around us, so it’s never a dull moment. Of course we both have large families, etc. Just like a south Texas family should be, right? Anyway, that’s *about* it (no pun intended).
